KeyMission 360/170 Utility

Developed by Nikon, the KeyMission 360/170 Utility is an application for Windows and Mac, dedicated to users who want to easily view pictures and configure settings on their Nikon KeyMission 360 and 170 cameras. It also gives you the possibility to download camera footage to your computer, edit photos and moves, as well as explore 360-degree photographs.

Following a fast setup operation with intuitive options, you're welcomed by a user-friendly interface made from a large window with a dark theme, which has a built-in file navigator to help you explore disk directories and view digital photos. If your camera is already connected to the PC, it will get automatically picked up by KeyMission 360/170 Utility. Otherwise, you can just view regular photos stored on your PC, although it's not possible to perform any actions on them.

Thumbnails of all photos from the currently selected location can be viewed on the left, so you can spot the pictures that interest you and open them. You can zoom in and out, switch to full screen mode, choose between single and split viewing mode, change the aspect ratio, as well as view 360-degree pictures and pick a viewpoint. While watching movies, the playback speed can be adjusted.

It's possible to trim images, save frames to your PC, add background music, apply various effects (e.g. monochrome, sepia), and create a movie digest. Spherical 360-degree content can be recorded again if you pick a view point, aspect and zoom ratio as well as by locating the starting frame.
