Photowall

Photowall is a fun application that comes packed with plenty of features for creating multipurpose digital photos with frames. You can use them for wallpapers or websites, for example.

The interface of the tool is based on two windows - one lets you configure controls, while the other one reveals results. Loading an image into the workspace is done with the help of the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported. The supported formats include JPG, TIF and GIF.

You can select one of the numerous frames provided by the program, according to their category - "Cartoon", "Classic", "Fun", "Holiday", "Romance", "Shapes" and "Sports", among others.

It is possible to add a drop or inner shadow along with an inner or outer glow effect, stretch the picture or the frame, as well as to rotate the image or the frame. The resulted photograph can be set as wallpaper, sent to a friend via email, printed or just exported to file.

Photowall offers multilingual support, has a good response time and uses a massive amount of CPU and system memory, so your computer may hang. However, we have not encountered any issues throughout our testing; the app did not hang, crash or pop up error notifications.

Unfortunately, no recent updates have been made to the tool. But, thanks to its intuitive layout and overall simplicity, Photowall's features should be seamlessly discovered by inexperienced users.
