123Shot is a tiny tool designed to help you take multiple screenshots of specific windows, parts of the screen or full desktop, images that you can use for your other projects later on.

The setup is a rather quick and straightforward operation that does not require too much attention on your part. The program comes with an old-school interface, but that is user-friendly and unlikely to give you any troubles regardless of your experience with similar tools.

As far as the options are concerned, you can consider the tool to start automatically with Windows, which is an overall benefit if you plan to use it every day. At the same time, you can select which program can be used to preview the screenshots, here the options being none, the one set as default for your system, Paint and other third-party software that you may be using.

The program allows you to take snapshots of the entire desktop as well as of specific areas. You can assign the size and location of the screenshots by specifying the coordinates on the desktop or by using the embedded tool and arranging it in the desired location.

It is worth mentioning that by default the tool employs the Ctrl + Alt + S hotkey combination for taking snapshots, as it is also indicated in the upper section of the UI. Then again, you have the possibility to change the letter from this combination with a more convenient option.

At the same time, you can specify a designated folder for this purpose, which can help you keep the screenshots organized by day or based on project. Lastly, 123Shot allows you to set the base name for the files to be saved, which you can leave as Screenshot by default or change to whatever is more suitable for you.
