Gazo Tuber

Vtubing really took off in the past year, and it's understandable why many would want to get into it. Livestreaming was already getting increasingly popular, and the immediate popularity vtubers gained demonstrated the appeal of having an online streamer persona via an avatar.

How would one go about having such an avatar for their stream, though? Gazo Tuber is all you need: insert one or more .png images of your persona, and it'll animate and make them OBS-ready in an instant.

After starting the app, you'll be required to input one or more .png files to act as your avatar. The images will then appear in the interface, and each can correspond to different states: one for idling, one for talking, and so on.

The way the program handles the animation is smart: it switches between the .png files you inserted based on your microphone volume threshold. What's more, you can also add bouncy and shaky effects to your character to further animate it. A dimming feature is also available, and with it, your avatar will darken when no sound is detected.

One of the main draws of this software lies in its OBS integration: click the Transparent Background in the app, then head over to OBS and capture its window via the Game Capture function. This way, you can have an avatar overlay for your stream without any hassle: drag it to where you need it, then start streaming.

You can also have a green screen as your background, or a custom one if that's more your thing. As Twitch Studio does not support transparency, the green screen serves to help with that.
