Grab activity of the entire screen or a custom region, and use different brush tools to emphasize elements of interest, with various save and print options #Screen capture #Desktop recorder #Screenshot maker #Screesnhot #Snapshot #Capture
If something fishy is happening on your screen there’s a high chance you take a printscreen to save the image. However, capturing screen activity has a lot of practicality, especially in testing, and there are tons of specialized applications like MRGetScreen, also fitted with various editing tools.
The setup process is over before you realize, but it’s a good idea to make sure that .NET Framework is on your computer to ensure functionality. There’s the option to have the application launched right after setup so you can see what it’s all about. Don’t be scared about the cluttered interface, because accommodation is not a big deal.
As far as capture modes are concerned, you can either grab activity on the entire screen, or a custom region by dragging a box around it. The only downside to the operation here is that there’s no possibility to assign hotkey commands, and a capture method is only triggered through functions in the main window.
As soon as the picture is captured the window shows up again with the grabbed image in sight. There are multiple slots so you can store multiple pictures temporarily, and even bring them back in editing space for more adjustments. You can save pictures as JPG or PNG, print, or send via email if there’s an associated application installed on your computer.
As mentioned, there are different editing options at your disposal. These greatly come in handy for making tutorials, containing drawing brushes, and options to add text stamps. What’s more, you can easily remove elements, or edit again even after saving a picture. You can create a collage in the multiple printing tab to either save, print, or email the result.
All things considered, we can state that MRGetScreen is a reliable application overall, especially since it includes a decent variety of editing tools. The only inconvenience is that there are no hotkey commands, and the keyboard printscreen function has no effect here.
