An intuitive and minimalistic application that allows you to easily capture screenshots of the whole screen, the active window, or a custom region on your desktop #Screenshot Capture #Screen Capture #Desktop Capture #Capture #Screenshot #Snapshot
Constructed to help you grab photos of your desktop, ScreenshotRaptor offers four main possibilities: fullscreen, window or window control, region and with a timer. You only have to select the type of capture and then take the picture on the spot or wait. Afterwards, the screenshots are saved to history for as long as you want.
Each capture mode comes with simple, distinct options. For example, fullscreen mode can grab the whole area or just the workspace (without the taskbar). The second can grab windows or just controls, which are just a small part of the panels (e.g. toolbar). Windows can be saved with or without transparency.
In the third capture mode, you can take screenshots by drawing a rectangular region of your dektop. The mouse pointer is accompanied by a magnification window, whose size and zoom level can be adjusted.
The last mode enables you to grab the full screen using a timer. The default delay is 5 seconds and can be changed to any number of minutes or seconds, along with the number of screenshots to take in one session and the position of the counter displayed on the screen. The ticking sound can be disabled or the counter can be hidden.
Like any other options menu, you can customize everything you need regarding ScreenshotRaptor. The language can be changed from the “General” tab.
After taking the screenshot, any changes regarding its name or format can be made from the second tab, called “Output”. There are three format options (BMP, PNG, JPG) and, if you need to capture the pointer in your screenshot as well, the setting can be made from the same tab.
We’ve mentioned earlier that you can keep the picture stored for as long as you want. Well, inside the “History” tab, you can make any changes regarding the time limit or set the number of photos to save. ScreenshotRaptor gives you the option to set hotkeys for an easier capture of screenshots and, because timing is important, you can even set the delay time of the screenshot in the “Advanced” tab.
As a few last words, ScreenshotRaptor is a useful tool for capturing images of everything that happens on your desktop and, afterwards, editing them in a preferred application. It has a few languages to choose from and the option to change the delay time of screen captions.
