Screenshot for PC is a small utility that lets you capture your screen or parts of it, and output the images to three available formats. If you are looking for a screenshot tool that focuses on simplicity and speed, Screenshot on PC might be what you need.

The interface is split into two main segments — the sidebar and the preview screen. The sidebar is a bit larger as it holds all the settings, but they are listed with checkboxes, so swapping them comes fairly easy.

Regarding the sidebar, the first set of options is found under Capture. From there you can choose what part of the screen should be captured. You can capture all monitors, the active monitor, an active window or the desktop monitor. Make sure you choose the right one before attempting a screenshot.

Moving down to Options, you can notice that only two checkboxes are available there — one for the auto-save feature and one for the capture timer. The autosave feature should always be left checked if you want to avoid the output interrogation prompt. 

Regarding the Capture Timer, if it's active, you will have a delay between the moment you take the screenshot and the moment it's captured. The delay timer's default value is 3, but you can change it to whatever interval you want.

Screenshot for PC lets you output your capture as BMP, JPG or PNG. These options can be found on the lower part of the sidebar and must be selected before a screenshot is taken. If you are worried about the file size, you can choose to downgrade the image quality.

The application can prove very useful for users who want to take quick and simple screenshots, but it may not be addressed for users who want a more powerful utility, as it cannot help with watermarks, effects, resizing, shadow, etc.
