heShot

heShot is a screenshot grabbing tool that can capture the full screen, active window, custom region, and selected window or object. This utility features several intuitive editing options for all types of users, even those inexperienced with such software.

Installing this program takes minimal time and effort. It's wrapped in a regular interface made from a classical window, which contains a menu bar and toolbar.

After taking a snapshot using one of the capture modes previously described, the application enables you to preview the image in the main window, as well as to make adjustments. For instance, you can convert it to greyscale, increase the brightening or darkening levels, invert the colors, rotate the image by 90 or 180 degrees, as well as flip it vertically or horizontally.

The picture can be copied to the Clipboard, saved to file with the BMP, JPG or GIF extension, as well as printed. Plus, you can hide the main toolbar, editing buttons and status bar, show all or none, clear the heShot statistics with the taken screenshots and active windows, as well as switch to another GUI language.

The application comes equipped with multiple shot capturing modes and user-friendly image editing options, although it doesn't really have advanced photo adjustments, such as accurately tweaking the brightness or contrast levels. A camera shutter sound is automatically triggered when a snapshot is taken, and this option cannot be changed.

It didn't put a strain on the computer's performance in our tests, using low CPU and RAM. No error dialogs popped up and it didn't hang or crash.

To sum it up, heShot comes loaded with approachable options for capturing snapshots and editing images, and it can be handled with ease by all types of users.
