hyperShot is a straightforward utility that allows you to effortlessly capture and share screenshots.

Before anything else, we would like to point out that this is by no means a contender for the best app of this category, since it's fairly non-impressive both regarding functionality and looks.

However, if you're not exactly picky and you're just looking for a simple utility for screen capturing, that's also free, then hyperShot might just do the trick for you.

Subsequent to a typical installation, you'll notice that the app smoothly integrates with your computer's taskbar. It's really not that difficult to figure out how this app works, and the best way to do so is to access its Setting menu right off the bat.

As you can see, there are two, self-explaining screen capturing modes, namely "Fullscreen" and "Selective", and their dedicated keyboard shortcuts, namely CTRL+SHIFT+3 and CTRL+SHIT+4. You can also opt for two upload modes (Imgur or FTP) and choose the default folder for your screenshots.

You can set up the app to automatically open links or copy them to your computer's clipboard after a successful upload, and even to launch at system startup without any type of user intervention on your part.

To conclude, hyperShot is a very useful yet somewhat rudimentary application that does its job rather well. It's easy to install, easy to configure (even though it's perfectly capable of working straight out of the box) and it's intuitive enough to be used by novices without any types of problems.
