iTop Screenshot provides you with a handy and reliable screen capturing tool ready to help you out if you want to take a screenshot of your working area. With simple options and a modern-looking control toolbar, this application allows you to save, edit and share snapshots with ease. 

Upon launch, you are greeted by a simple floating control bar, which bundles all the available options and functions. There elegant color scheme and the stylish icons make this application very pleasant to the eye. 

The “Capture” button is the one that will capture your attention immediately. Pressing it will open a rectangle tool that allows you to select the area you want to capture. If you want to capture the entire desktop, the easiest way to do so is by clicking on the designated button in the main window, although you could also use drag and drop. 

It is worth mentioning that iTop Screenshot comes with an options to capture scrolling windows, meaning you will be able to take a screenshot of an entire webpage, even if it needs scrolling in the browser. On the downside, there is no option to capture opened windows or fixed-size areas.

Once the area you want captured is selected, new controls and options are revealed. iTop Screenshot allows you to make annotations onto your snapshot before saving it. To be more specific, you can draw rectangles, circles, arrows, lines and various other shapes to highlight certain areas or insert text boxes to offer additional explanations, if needed. However, if you are looking for a wat to place your watermark onto the screenshot, you should know that iTop Screenshot does not yet feature such a function.

Freehand drawing onto the screenshot is also possible using a pen with three different sizes and any color you like. If there is something in the screenshot that should not be seen by others, such as IP addresses or private data, you can use the built-in blur tool to conceal it. This feature allows you to pixelize certain areas of the screenshot.

The screenshot you take with iTop Screenshot can be easily pinned to the desktop for quick viewing. You can also save it either to the clipboard or locally, on your computer. Furthermore, the application features instant sharing on social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Imgur. 

iTop Screenshot comes with a series of features that allow you to take screenshots quickly, make your annotations, save or share them online. While further improvements can be made, the application is easy to use, it features a modern look and it is handy to have around.
