Animation GIF Wizard

Little GIF animations are quite popular over the web so you might want to create some of your own. As the name of this software implies, Animation GIF Wizard allows you to create a GIF animation. It can be easily handled by all user levels.

The interface of the program is plain and simple to work with. Image files can be imported into the list by using the file browser only, because the "drag and drop" method is not supported.

In the queue you can read the name, size, date and time, along with location of each file. All you have to do is specify the output destination and file name, in order to proceed with the encoding job.

You mainly work with pictures as main resources, and these can be under quite the variety of formats, such as JPG, BMP, DIB, EMF, ICB, ICO, PBM, PCD, PCX, PNG, PGM, PSP, PSD, TIF, WMF, and more.

You can set the delay time and enable transparency for each frame, specify the size of the animation, enable Animation GIF Wizard to convert images without resizing and to loop, and others.

The GIF animation software takes up a moderate amount of system resources, has a good response time, quickly finishes a task and manages to preserve a very good image quality in the output files. No errors have popped up during our testing and Animation GIF Wizard did not freeze or crash.

On the other hand, the interface is outdated, you cannot preview GIFs while creating them and we weren't able to access the help file (clicking the option didn't do anything). We recommend Animation GIF Wizard with reservations.

Animation GIF Wizard comes with good intentions, and wants to help you quickly create GIF animations out of pictures. However, it’s rather underprepared to compete with modern alternatives.
