Batch Images

When dealing with multiple graphic files at the same time, it might be cumbersome to process each one individually, especially when you want to apply the same configuration to all of them.

This is where apps such as Batch Images can come in handy, as they can considerably reduce the time and effort required to enhance numerous graphic files.

Once you have installed the software, you need to manually select the pictures you want to edit, or you can drag and drop them onto the main window.

You need to pay attention when dragging and dropping folders, as the app adds all the files stored within the directory, even if they are not images and they cannot be properly processed.

The application supports a wide range of formats, such as JPEG, PNG, BMP, GIF, TIFF, PSD, JP2, WMF, ICO, TGA, HDR and so on, as well as several raw camera formats (3FR, ARW, CRW, DCR, DNG, ERF, KDC, MRW, NEF, NRW. OBM or ORF).

After you chose the source files, you need to proceed to the second step, that of selecting the modifications you want to apply to them.

You can customize the parameters for any action you select, be it resize, rename, rotate, crop, denoise, distort or overlay text and image watermarks. Batch Images also allows you to enhance your pictures with one or multiple of the included effects (pixelate, vignette, random corners, random jitter, pencil sketch, oil paint, frosted glass and others).

On the downside, you cannot preview the results until you actually apply them, so it would be wise to test them on a single file before processing all the pics you want.

If you want to apply the same actions to other images in the future, you can save the current configuration to a template file, so you can load them at a later time with only a few mouse clicks.
