Eagle Animation

As a stop-motion animator, you probably got some decent work done using a basic camera and editing software. Without denying that it’s a good start, you will start feeling the limitations of your current setup as you step up your game. Eagle Animation is a tool that can lend you a hand with having more control over the camera and, consequently, the end result.

The application comes with a simple interface and you can get started by hitting the ‘New Project’ button. You will be prompted to a new window where you can preview your camera and make the necessary adjustments.

If you happen to work with multiple cameras, then you can select the preferred one from the Settings. At the same time, you can configure the number of frames to capture, framing averaging, sound effects, grid lines and columns as well as other features you think you may need to get the best results. The frames are shown in a timeline and you can easily analyze them in detail and re-arrange, duplicate and delete accordingly.

The application enables you to make use of all the features and power of your camera, so basically, the better the camera you are using, the better the results. Obviously, a high-end camera entails more details and better resolution. However, the program supports numerous cameras and you don’t need to work with the latest camera on the market to get results.

Once you are happy with your work, you can use the dedicated button to export your project as a video that can be played back or shared with others to get their feedback. If you feel that your project could need more finishing touches, then Eagle Animation enables you to export as animation frames that you can further tinker with using your favorite editing software.
