If you're looking for an easy-to-use app that can help you enrich your photo collections using different types of frames and effects, you can try Funny Frames. It offers support for BMP, PNG, JPEG, JPG, GIF, TIFF and TIF file types.

Wrapped in a Modern UI with big buttons that are hard to miss, the tool is optimized for touch-supported devices. However, it's compatible with any type of computers running Windows 8, 8.1 and 10.

After downloading and installing Funny Frames from the Windows Store, you can pin it to your Start Screen or Menu for fast access. It doesn't need Internet access, so you can use it to beautify your images even when you're offline.

Images can be opened from the local drive or taken on the spot using a webcam. Afterward, you can pick a frame from the list after previewing the 12 options available.

Once you select a preferred frame, you can click or tap and drag the image to fit it. The photo app also puts five effects at your disposal, enabling you to choose from old photo, black and white, sepia green, blue or red filter.

If you're pleased with the results, you can post the image to Facebook to share it with your friends or save it to file with the any format. This means that Funny Frames also acts as a file type converter for pictures.

All things considered, Funny Frames is by no means a professional software application to manipulating pictures, but it doesn't claim to be one. Instead, it provides you with some entertaining frames and effects to enjoy with your friends. Too bad that it doesn't support a wider range of frames and filters, though.
