Kakasoft's GIf Maker is an interesting program to deal with if you often find ourselves in the GIF creation process. The idea behind this app is to offer users a simple, yet complete experience in creating simple animations. It offers more than one way to import or create your GIFs, an easy-to-use editor, and plenty of options to adjust your experience as seen fit.

The first thing the user will see once the app is launched is a nice window with four main GIF-creation options. Record your desktop, use the webcam, draw something on the app's board or jump straight into the editor. It's mainly easy to navigate around this app because it seems to have organized your options in a very efficient manner. Buttons are big, well-spaced, while the text is also accurately placed, readable and clear in the message it sends.

The recording procedure works as any particular screen capturing software. Simply select the area you want to have recorded, add the number of frames you'd like to use with this video, and hit the Record button or F7 if you like hotkeys and shortcuts. That's it. Drawing on the board is more fun. This option gives you maximum freedom of creation and thought. The idea is about the same.

Choose the size of your canvas, the frames, and let the app do the rest. It will record your drawing automatically, creating a GIF from the creation process itself. Quite original. The webcam option works much in the same way, only this time you'll be the star of your own animation, or at least whatever is in front of your webcam.

The editor is also an interesting component of this application. It's filled with features that allow one to post-process any creation. Fit image, adjust the content, play with transitions, inverse, and so on. As long as you've got a plan, there is a way to achieve it with this program.
