Editing pixel art requires a fitting application, and GreenPixel represents just that. Moreover, this tool can also help one edit high-definition pictures, pixel by pixel — allowing for more accurate and sharp modifications.

The modern-looking dashboard somehow resembles Paint, but in a good way. Adding images can be done by drag and drop, and each particular image will have its own tab if you are looking to multitask.

The left side toolbox sports classical editing instruments like rectangular and elliptical selection boxes, lasso, wand, pencil, brush, eraser, color bucket, and a gradient filler. You have shortcuts for cropping, retouching, inserting text, and more.

Pixelated images are going to fit nicely within the preview panel, most of them requiring no zoom alternation. You can select one pixel or a group of them, then proceed to modify the areas as you see fit. For HD images, zooming in can be done until all pixels are visible. If you modify a pixel by mistake or are not happy with your work, you can undo each and every action. No matter how many changes you've applied, the undo and redo tool won't stop working after a random number of uses.
