GridaPic is a simple-to-use application that enables you to apply grids over pictures, as well as to change their orientation and copy multiple selected files to a specified directory. It doesn't include complicated options or configuration settings, making it accessible to all types of users.
The interface is represented by a large window with a minimalistic appearance and menu bar containing approachable options.
You can get started by opening an image file. The tool's not explicit concerning the supported filetypes, but we've noticed that it works with PNG, BMP, JPG and TIF.
It's possible to find out the file's position in the current folder (out of all supported photos), pixel and file file size, date and time of last modification, along with the height and width ratio.
Moreover, you can go to the previous, next, first or last photo in the current directory, mark any of them for bulk copying to another folder in a local, removable or network location, as well as customize the background color.
Plus, you can rotate the picture by 90 degrees to the right, zoom in and out, draw a grid and enlarge a particular section, as well as copy or export areas to file. Keyboard shortcuts are supported and explained in the help documentation.
The entire program's packed in a single .exe file that can be saved to a preferred folder on the HDD or copied to a removable storage unit, in order to directly run it on any PC without setup.
GridaPic doesn't create files on the disk without your knowledge, need DLLs or other components to work properly, nor update the system registry with new entries. In order to get rid of it, you simply have to delete this executable.
It worked smoothly on newer Windows models in our tests, although it hasn't received updates for a long time. No error dialogs popped up and it didn't hang or crash.
As we expected, it left a small footprint on the computer's performance, using a low amount of CPU and RAM. Thanks to its intuitive options, GridaPic can be easily handled.
