Once installed, the application can be launched so you can get acquainted with the set of features. The main window is pretty intuitive, with a side panel for the preview and load area, as well as two others for the two general operations that can be performed, such as crop, and resize.

File support is decent, and you’re able to work with pictures under formats like GIF, JPG, and BMP, and loading them is either done by having them dropped over the main window, one by one through the built-in browse dialog, or importing the content of a whole folder. After processing, you’re able to save them either as JPG or BMP.

However, there’s a difference in the set of options put at your disposal, depending on the loading type you choose. For instance, selecting a single picture brings up an additional preview window, where you can thoroughly configure crop area, and even add a custom watermark text over it.

Batch processing is possible as well, but you don’t benefit from the editing options you work with on a single picture. However, the main window is fitted with a small orientation window that lets you configure the area, while desizing benefits from several preset settings, that are also related to quality.
