It's possible to view the name, full path, original and new size, size difference, date of last modification and status of each file, handpick the columns to display while hiding the rest, as well as to open the original or new items in our default image viewer.

The file list can be saved to a plain text document and later opened to pick up from where you left off. All JPEGs from the list or just selected ones can be processed once you've specified the output directory for storing the new files in.

This means that the source files remain untouched, so there's no need to create backups prior tp using Jpeg Scrubber. The utility automatically creates an HTML report with all details shown in the task list, along with the amount of total bytes saved by removing the EXIF data.

It carried out tasks rapidly without triggering the operating system to hang, crash or indicate errors in the meantime. CPU and RAM usage was low, so it didn't hamper system performance. On the other hand, it doesn't give you the possibility to filter EXIF tags for removal. We must also keep in mind that it hasn't received updates for a long time.
