A phone's camera doesn't have such a wide angle so it might sometimes happen that you have to rotate a picture taken in landscape or portrait mode. This is one of the basic tools included in almost all photo editors and even in simple photo viewers but, if you are looking for a dedicated tool to rotate images in batch, ImageBox is a software solution that might be the answer to your search.

ImageBox is, in essence, nothing more than a photo viewer with rotating capabilities. Everything about it is simple: from the main window to the menus and the extra options to manage opened images.

The application can process an entire folder of photos, no matter its size. In other words, you can use it to visualize hundreds of photos in its preview area. On the downside, it only provides support for a few formats, namely PNG, JPG, BMP, and GIF.

ImageBox resizes the original images in preview mode and, no matter if your picture collection has images of different dimensions, it displays each enclosed in a different standard-sized box, along with its name and its type.

Each image box features rotate buttons both to the right and to the left. There are a few additional options to allow you to open an image using the default viewer or delete the file from the original location.

ImageBox is quite rudimentary, but it does allow you to correct the rotation of each photo and apply the changes with the click of a button. Nevertheless, it wouldn't hurt to insert additional image processing options in each box and turn it, with time, into a full-featured editor with lots more graphics manipulation capabilities.
