PhotoArtista - Sketch is a straightforward software solution that comes in handy when you want to transform your boring images into amazing designs with an old look using only a few clicks.

The utility provides a modern and approachable interface, divided into the preview area, the effects collection and the sketch properties. Due to its simplicity, the app can be used even by those inexperienced in handling image editors. The supported image formats are JPG, PNG and TIFF.

To load the image, you can either use the file browser or simply drag and drop it into the panel. Sadly, it's not possible to edit multiple photos at the same. You can zoom in and out of the picture, crop it to a custom or square dimension, and view the original image.

The styles are neatly arranged into a scrollable toolbar bearing numbers instead of names. To view them, just press on them.

Once you decide on a specific style, the app lets you customize the pencil's thickness and color, outline's accuracy and strength, and the shade's variation. You can adjust the paper tint and choose the canvas's background style.

It's also possible to pick the shade's pattern for several presets, like dots, lines or darker shadows, and the edge's frame model. It would've been a plus if the program came with a few drawing tools (brushes, airbrush) and support for stickers, symbols or text.

Taking everything into account, PhotoArtista - Sketch is a useful application designed to offer simple ways to transform your plain pictures into stunning hand-drawn sketches with the aid of the provided filters. It also comes with several edge and canvas models.
