PhotoHandler

PhotoHandler is a software utility that can be used to apply watermarks to pictures, as well as edit and convert them from one format to another.

The installation process is quick, while the interface you come to meet sports a modern and minimal design, which is only comprised of a few buttons and two panels, so that you can view thumbnails and a folder view of your hard drive. This means all types of users can easily find their way around it, regardless of their experience level.

This software tool enables you to import images from a connected camera or and SD card. You can convert them to formats such as JPG, GIF, PNG, TIFF and PSD, while also controlling their size, by inputting the width and height. Moreover, batch processing is featured.

When it comes to editing, you can control the gamma, brightness, contrast, luminance and saturation levels, establish the color temperature and tint, sharpen details and apply a black-and-white or sepia effect. It is possible to rotate pictures, insert text, image or lines watermarks, with many configurable options.

This program also enables you to view EXIF data, (if it is available) such as picture size, camera make and model, flash, white balance, exposure mode and GPS information.

From the settings panel, you can choose one of the many zoom filters integrated (e.g. Triangle, Hermite, Lanczos, Mitchell, Nearest etc.) and control the thumbnails cache size.

To draw a conclusion, we can safely say PhotoHandler is a well-rounded piece of software when it comes to editing and converting multiple photos in the same time. It has a good response time, and our tests did not register any errors or crashes.
