It's not an easy task to find an image editor that comes with all of the tools that you're looking for and it has an affordable price.

Fortunately, PhotoMeister is one of them, with the exception that it's completely free. It allows you to import photos from your computer or camera and make all sort of changes to them, before you publish them online.

The application sports a really intuitive and lightweight graphical interface, with a toolbar that gives you access to multiple sections. It also has a help menu with lots of instructions and it allows you to make some changes to the application's interface.

You can adjust the size of thumbnail photos and pick a font size. It allows you to set a default destination folder for albums and decide whether you want to keep original file.

It comes with the option to import pictures from your camera or memory card and include them into an album. You can also open a folder with photos already stored on your hard disk as albums.

The tree-view allows you to navigate through pictures easily and you can adjust contrast, brightness and zoom in on them easily. It lets you rotate images, crop sections, add frames and remove red eye. It comes with an optimize function which filters the digital image data of your photos and recalculates parameters.

It displays details on your pictures, like the date, size and the camera that you used in order to take them. You can print photos, publish them on the Internet as HTML or Flash albums. You can also send pictures in an email, publish them as a photo book, create a screensaver, an interactive slideshow or export them to a directory.

It also allows you to burn them on CDs. PhotoMeister is a very neat application that you can use in order to make some adjustments to your pictures and to publish them online.
