PhotoStitcher

PhotoStitcher is a software application designed specifically for helping you merge multiple photos and generate a panoramic image without having to be a professional photographer or make use of advanced editing programs.

The main panel is divided into two main areas for helping you quickly add pictures in the working environment and preview the stitching results.

It works with the following file formats: JPG, PNG, BMP, and TIFF. Images can be uploaded in the working environment using the built-in browse button or drag-and-drop support. The uploaded pictures can be previewed in the main panel.

Basically, it proves to be nothing more than a piece of cake to work with this application, as you only need to build up a list with the items that you want to merge and click on “Stich” button for triggering the process.

What’s more, you can choose between different stitching methods, namely plane, spherical, cylindrical, fish-eye, or stereographic, zoom in or out of the generated image, remove the selected items from the list or clear the entire workspace with just one click, and use the “Crop” function in order to change the clipping rectangle.

Tests have shown that PhotoStitcher is not quite fast when it comes to accomplishing the stitching process and may need some extra time to process data. It is not friendly with system resources, so the overall performance of the computer may be affected.

To sum things up, PhotoStitcher proves to be a handy tool worth having when you need to automate the merging process of multiple photos into a single panoramic image. It is suitable especially for less experienced users who don’t want to spend a lot of time configuring a wide range of dedicated parameters.
