Doing vector graphics editing is something that can be dealt with by the more generalized mainstream photo editing offerings, such as Photoshop, but even so, tools purposely built to handle vectors will always come out on top in such workloads.
As most of us know, there's enough software for everyone, and those dealing with vector graphics have numerous options of programs to choose from, and RePath Studio is among them. Though a newer entry, the software aims to offer users a scalable and comprehensive vector graphics editing experience, as it seeks to support any type of workflow, and respond to the users' demands.
Creating and managing vector graphics might seem like a bit of an arcane concept to some: creating art out of geometrical shapes takes some doing, which makes such an endeavor look more daunting than it actually is. A lot of artistry and skill is involved in creating art, and no one can take that away. But when you've got a reliable software by your side, creating vector graphics can appear more inviting, especially to novice users.
The interface design here is quite familiar, where functions of interest are within arm's reach, much like most modern graphic editors. You can start out by drawing lines, connecting them, and giving them a bit of character by coloring and manipulating their proportions. Shapes, too, can be introduced into your work, and the selection is quite large: circles, ellipses, rectangles, polygons, and, for more distinct projects, blobs.
Users can modify the way their vectors interact with each other by moving them up or down the Elements menu: these "elements" are a bit like the layers you know from Photoshop.
Clicking on a vector will bring up some data about it, and you can manipulate some of it: opacity, stroke, and fill options can be accessed and modified as you see fit. Interestingly, the tool also shows browser compatibility for web-focused projects.
For a better organizational experience, via the rightmost part of the interface, users can access several controls that can help them manage their vectors: alignment and grouping controls can be found there, and there are also a few buttons to modify the foreground and background items.
RePath Studio does well to provide users with an intuitive, but well-featured vector graphics editing environment, where even beginners are welcomed.
