View the cool side of math by using various expressions to generate high-quality fractals with customization options and possibility to export pictures under different formats #Generate fractal #Fractal generator #Create fractal #Fractal #Sterling #Genrator
Math is far more than an ugly set of numbers which seem to take forever to solve. The evolution of technology now makes it easy to visualize math expressions, with fractals being a suitable example here. As such, Sterling2 comes with a variety of algorithms with which to generate neat, custom fractals.
First of all, the application can perfectly run from the moment download is done, because there’s no setup involved. This gives it some degree of flexibility, making it possible to have it carried around on a thumb drive to create fractals on other computers. Note that stability of the target PC is not affected, because registry entries are not modified.
The application stores all it has to offer in a clean, intuitive design. Most functions and operations are handled from the upper toolbar, with most of the space reserved to the generated fractal itself. Be sure to adjust the preview are size values, because there’s a high chance you don’t quite understand anything from the compact default specification. What’s more, resulting pictures are also saved based on these values.
Considering the variety of expressions you can use for fractal generation, and that these continuously generate you’re sure to invest quite some time exploring various possibilities. On the one hand, view options can be set to zoom in on a specific region, on mouse click, turn inside out, switch to Julia mode, or rotate.
On the other hand, the application comes with an impressive amount of forms, rendering, and mapping math expressions, each generating a unique fractal. Some values can also be manipulated for more variety, including colors used in the process.
When you finally reach a neat zone, there’s the possibility to save the image to file. Support is neat, and you can create files of formats like BMP, JPG, PBM, PGM, PNG, PPM, TGA, and TIFF. What’s more, these come with a variety of quality customization options.
In conclusion, Sterling2 initially feels a little rough around the edges because of its raw appearance. However, there’s an impressive library of functions and modes to use, making it possible to explore new regions every time, and save pictures under various image formats.
