The GUI cannot be considered to be modern or polished, yet its old-school looks are bound to be encouraging for novices who usually feel overwhelmed when dealing with a new tool.

You need to start by creating a list of source files, either by dragging and dropping the images onto the main window, or by manually browsing to the location of each item. You also get the chance to load all the graphics from a chosen directory, thus speeding up the entire process.

Tif Joiner supports several source formats, namely BMP, GIF, PNG, TIF, JPEG, ICO, EXIF, WMF, EMF or DIB.

Before combining all your selected images into a single TIF file, you can perform some additional operations to make sure the result matches your expectations.

More specifically, you can preserve the size of each source file or you can manually adjust the width and height, while optionally keeping the aspect ratio. You can also rotate the pictures by a chosen angle (0, 90, 180, 270) or flip them horizontally or vertically.

On the downside, there is no way to preview the output TIF file and check the resulting image until you actually generate it and open it using its associated viewer. In other words, if you are not pleased with the outcome, you need to create it once more until you get it right.
