VOVSOFT - Image Splitter

Nowadays, most wouldn’t imagine life without the Internet or digital applications and the advantages they bring. No matter the need you have, there is an app for almost everything, be it a standalone software utility or an online one. While web-based tools are available for splitting images, an offline one comes with additional security-related perks along with the lack of need for an active Internet connection.

VOVSOFT - Image Splitter is such a utility, designed to help you split any image file into smaller parts without compromising the original quality.

There are two available flavors to this application: the one with the standard installer and the other with a portable executable. The portable one needs no installation and leaves no traces in the host system registry, allowing you to launch it on the go, directly from a removable drive.

VOVSOFT - Image Splitter is designed to split multiple images in batch mode. Images can be added individually either in classic mode or using drag and drop, but you can also select a folder and let the application find and import all the compatible image files. Common graphic formats are supported.  The images are shown in a list, along with their height and width. You can choose the number of pieces the image will be split in and preview the output as you make modifications.

You can choose to make the size of the output images equal, meaning every one of them will have the same width and height. Please keep in mind that some pixles on the edge might be ignored due to numerical rounding. On the downside, it is not possible to change the number of parts individually for each input image.

Once you are done configuring the application, you simply must hit the “Split All” button to create the images. The results are saved in the directory of your choice.

Aside from upload limitations that some online image splitters might impose, an online tool uploads your pictures and data to a server, which raises questions about data security. Another plus of VOVSOFT - Image Splitter is that it carries out the entire process in offline mode, thus protecting your provate data.
