3d Image Maker

3d Image Maker is a lightweight Windows application whose purpose is to help you generate 3D stereoscopic images based on two user-defined photos.

The tool was designed with simplicity in mind so it embeds only a few configuration settings. All dedicated parameters are embedded in a single window. You cannot find a help manual in the package but the setup options look highly intuitive so you can venture into tweaking them on your own.

3d Image Maker gives you the possibility to import two custom pictures from your collection. Files can be added in the working environment using the built-in browse button (the drag-and-drop support is not implemented). You can preview the photos directly in the primary panel. The utility works with BMP, JPG, and PNG file format.

You do not need to perform any special tweaks in order to generate the three-dimensional images. The application automatically processes the two files and allows you to specify the filename and saving directory. By default, the 3D photos are exported to BMP file format. There are no other output file formats supported by the program.

Tests have shown that 3d Image Maker accomplishes tasks quickly and offers very good output quality. It remains light on system resources so the overall performance of the computer is not affected.

All things considered, 3d Image Maker delivers a straightforward software approach for helping you design 3D photos. It is suitable especially for less experienced users because they don’t have to go through a lengthy and complex configuration process. However, professionals may be disappointed that there are no fine-tuning parameters and support for multiple output formats.
