Those who use Android devices and prefer to create mockup workflows might require a tool that could enable them to preview their desktop screens on the portable devices. Android Design Preview is an application that was designed to offer people an easy way to preview their display content on Android devices or select individual files.

Android Design Preview comes packed with a crude interface that provides two main buttons that can be used for selecting a desktop screen area/closing it or re-installing the application. However, being deployed as a standalone JAR file, the utility doesn’t require any installation process.

The “Re-install App” feature doesn’t serve any purpose and activating it will result in freezing the application. Provided that they have Android devices connected to their PCs, users can then select an area of their displays and preview it on the portable devices.

Once they have selected a designated screen area, Android Design Preview will enable users to resize it in accordance with the resolution of the target devices. This process is simplified, since when resizing the screen area, it automatically goes through standard Android device resolutions.

In addition to previewing their desktop display on Android devices, people can also select files using the provided feature. If performing interaction on their desktops, it will also be rendered on their Android devices and in our tests it has emphasized flawless operation
