Arcane Marks

Even if at its core Arcane Marks is a simple piece of software, it could prove to become a valuable program, one that allows you to redact and annotate on your images, or even hide sensitive information from them, if you ever need to.

Its interface is fairly simplistic, with a few buttons that expand and give you a little bit more flavors to choose from. There are two main buttons that allow you to pick 2 more options out of 3, one of them always being actively selected.

The first button refers to the section that helps you in hiding sensitive information that may be present in your images. The tools at your disposal for such a task are the Blur, Pixelate and Fill options. The second button allows you to select the type of shape you want to use in your annotations. The options made available here are the circle, rectangle and arrow.

All the shapes and effects can be used at the same time, but when you use one feature, the already-made marks will disappear until you finish adding the new one. After that, all of them will appear together on your image.

Arcane Marks provides you with a way to share your saved images as links, with maximum security. And I say maximum because it uses the blockchain security system, which is indeed one of the most secure ways of encrypting information to date.

But to be able to use this feature, you must make an account, which might prove to be an annoyance for some, but in my opinion, the little hassle is pretty worth it.

A very lightweight application that functions as it is described and comes in handy when you want to quickly do some scribble on your images, hide certain elements that you may not want to be seen and then share them securely.
