Ashampoo Photos is installed via Ashampoo Connect, requiring you to login to your Ashampoo account. If you don’t have one, creating an account is easy and intuitive.

What is interesting about Ashampoo Photos is that multiple photo sources can be added, which allows you to organize photos efficiently, no matter their actual location. You can choose both local folders, Microsoft OneDrive, or other sources. Once you are finished adding sources, Ashampoo Photos displays them all with small thumbnails, allowing you to explore media files in a single window.

Double-clicking on any of the images zooms it in, allowing you to see information about the file, add it keywords and tags needed for in-app searches, or add it to an album. Moreover, you are allowed to rate the photo with one to five stars or delete it from your PC. Photo editing and file sharing tools are to be added.

All the available albums in Ashampoo Photos are displayed in the designated tab. You get to explore the contents of your folders and albums created based on keywords.

And speaking of keywords, it is worth mentioning that Ashampoo Photos features a built-in search capability, where you can enter keywords, locations, dates, ratings, folder or album names, or even cameras. In other words, Ashampoo Photos reads all these details about all the photos, allowing you to easily find the pictures you need.
