AutoDWG Attribute Extractor

AutoDWG Attribute Extractor is a simple-to-use software program that enables you to extract attribute information from CAD drawings without having to use AutoCAD. It offer support for batch processing and offers support for most DWG formats.

The installation operation is fast and uncomplicated, thanks to the fact that the setup wizard contains only familiar options. Once it's over, AutoDWG Attribute Extractor welcomes you with a simple wizard, where you can get started by creating a new attribute extraction project and saving it as a .pae-formatted file.

You can open a DWG file, select the types of items to extract between model and paper space, view and select blocks after finding out their names, attribute tags and values, as well as edit rows. Once the output directory, file name and format (TXT, CSV or Excel) are set, you can proceed with the extraction procedure.

There were no stability issues in our tests, thanks to the fact that the program didn't hang, crash or prompt error messages. It left a small footprint on system performance, using low CPU and RAM.

Although it doesn't integrate richer options or configuration parameters, AutoDWG Attribute Extractor offers a straightforward method for extracting attributes from AutoCAD files in batch mode, and it can be seamlessly handled by all types of users, regardless of their previous experience level with CAD software. However, the price of the registered edition seems too much.
