Image Resize

Developed in Delphi, Image Resize is a lightweight and portable software application you can use to change the size of photograph files.

It supports PNG, JPG, JPEG, BMP, TIF, TIFF, ICO, EMF and WMF file types, and it contains just a handful of options that.

The entire program's wrapped in a single .exe file that you can copy to the hard drive or a removable storage unit, in order to seamlessly launch Image Resize on any of your computers effortlessly, without having to install anything beforehand.

It doesn't require DLLs to run, create additional files on the computer without your permission, or change the Windows registry configuration by adding or updating entries.

When it comes to the interface, the application sticks to a simple window that shows all options provided available. Unfortunately, batch processing isn't supported, so you are restricted to resizing only one image file at a time.

After indicating the source image file, you can establish the destination folder and file name along with the new width and height (pixels).

There are no other noteworthy options available. Taking this into account, the program is pretty rudimentary, as it doesn't contain buttons for specifying the output directory and filename. Instead, it requires you to write the full path.

Tasks were carried out rapidly in our tests, during which Image Resize remained light on system resources consumption, running on low CPU and RAM. We haven't experienced any stability issues, since it didn't hang, crash or prompt error messages.

On other hand, it hasn't been updated for a long time and definitely needs some improvements in the graphical department of the interface, as well as functionality. Nevertheless, you can test the app for yourself.
