Free, simple image resizer to reduce the size of the pictures. #Image resizer #Resize picture #JPG resizer #Resizer #Resize #JPG
Bulk Image Resizer is an application with a pretty self-explanatory title - it allows you to change the size of your pictures in batch mode. This tool can be easily used by novices.
The interface of the program is plain and simple to work with. You can import a folder of images by using the treeview only, because the "drag and drop" method is not supported.
Once you establish the target folder location and size change ratio, you can proceed with the process. But you can also set a filename prefix in order to rename the output images, as well as enable Bulk Image Resizer to include subfolders recursively.
The image processing tool takes up a very low amount of system resources (which is barely noticeable), has a good response time, quickly finishes a task and didn't cause us any kind of difficulties during our tests. There is no help file available but that's because Bulk Image Resizer can be easily handled by users of any level.
On the other hand, the interface is outdated and you cannot change the program's behavior (e.g. enable Bulk Image Resizer to automatically run at system startup or to minimize to the system tray). Nevertheless, we recommend Bulk Image Resizer to all users who prefer a straightforward tool.
