ColorConvertz0r

ColorConvertz0r is a lightweight and portable software utility that you can use to convert color codes easily. It comprises simple and intuitive options that can be easily handled by users, regardless of their previous experience with such software.

Since there is no installation involved, you can save the program files to any part of the hard disk and just click the executable to run.

Another possibility is to save ColorConvertz0r to a removable storage unit, in order to run it on any PC with minimum effort, as long as it has .NET Framework installed.

An important factor to take into account is that the Windows registry and Start menu do not get updated with new entries, so there are no traces left behind after the app's removal.

As far as the GUI is concerned, ColorConvertz0r adopts a simple window with a straightforward structure, providing quick access to all main options.

It is possible to modify any values to find out color conversion properties when it comes to hue, saturation and brightness, red, green and blue channels, hue, saturation and luminance, YUV, cyan, magenta, yellow and block channels, along with HEX and RAL codes. The matching color is shown on the bottom part of the screen.

All this information can be exported to HTML or TXT format, to files created in the same directory as the app. You can make the frame stay on top of other windows, as well as enable the Aero effect in Windows 7.

The app instantly translates color properties while remaining light on the CPU and RAM, so it does not affect the overall PC performance or interfere with the activity of other running processes. We have not come across any issues in our tests, since it did not hang, crash or display error notifications.

ColorConvertz0r delivers fast answers to finding out various color information, which particularly comes in handy to web designers and those who generally work with photo editors. Unfortunately, it does not integrate a color picker.
