Diagram Painter

Diagram Painter is pretty much what the name says. Of course, this is not a painting app, but rather a more fancy name for a drawing application that works with mathematical precision and many types of shapes and liens to help the user create accurate representations of their systems and other math-related designs.

The application is still friendly and can be used by any type of individual, but I'd say it is more suitable for teachers and math students who want to represent various problematic shapes with math ties in a virtual environment.

The system is quite simple. You almost have the feeling you are painting these elements, hence the name. One must select the various shapes from the left side of the app, in a pane that is suggestive, called the Toolset. Here you can find any type of arrow, line, or shape you could imagine.

Creating it on a well-divided background makes it easier to calculate size and ratios, and I felt that this particular aspect was especially representative of mathematical problems and research, in general.

It's not called a painter for no reason. As it happens, you can indeed color your shapes as you wish and also outline certain sides if need be or certain areas for a more technical approach. Text can be added to explain quite easily the situation or relation between two shapes or a whole system.

Exporting your work of art can be done as an image or as a specific project. Printing is also another thing you can easily do right from the app's menu.

Diagram Painter is a simple and quite useful application that students and professors can use without needing a degree in computer sciences. It is accessible and also adaptable, two traits that make this app stand out.
