Digeus Image Resizer

Digeus Image Resizer is an application you can use to change the size of your photo files in batch mode. It offers support for JPG, JPEG, JPE, JIFF, BMP, DIB, GIF, TIF, TIFF and PNG file types, and it features advanced options.

The only notable aspect about setup is that you must have .NET Framework installed, since the program was developed using Microsoft's platform. When it comes to the GUI, the tool sticks to a user-friendly window with a neatly organized structure.

It enables you to add images from files or folders, as well as to check out the name, size, format, containing folder's name, and full path of each item. The status bar shows the width and height of each selected picture.

Casual users can opt for a preset resizing profile between 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768 and 1280x800 pixels, as well as set the new image quality to a value ranging from 50 to 95 DPI. The filenames can be preserved or changed by automatically numbering them.

Meanwhile, Digeus Image Resizer gives advanced users the possibility to customize each aspect of the resizing operation when it comes to the new width and height, quality, destination folder, along with filename prefix, starting number, and digits.

It didn't put a strain on the overall performance of the machine in our tests, thanks to the fact that it needed a low amount of CPU and RAM to work properly. We haven't encountered any stability issues, as it didn't hang, crash or prompt error messages. Tasks were carried out fast.

To sum it up, Digeus Image Resizer comes loaded with standard and advanced image resizing options to please both types of users, backed by rich file type support. Its interface could use some improvements in the graphical department, though.
