PosteRazor

PosteRazor is a simple-to-use program that enables you to prepare images for printing posters, by processing each part of them. It is based on a wizard which consists of five steps to perform the entire procedure with minimum effort.

The setup procedure is quick and does not need special attention from the user. Once it is done, you can run the app to view a standard window with an intuitive layout, representing PosteRazor's interface.

Importing an image can be done using the file browser only, since the drag-and-drop function is not supported. Image information contains the size, resolution and color type.

The following stage implies editing paper settings when it comes to the size (format, orientation) and borders. You can establish the overlapping size and position, together with the image alignment and size (in pages, in percent, or absolute).

Once the project is done, you can save it to a PDF file on the disk and select the output directory and file name. PosteRazor is able to automatically open it once the task is finished. Other options of the application let you change the measurement unit and UI language.

The utility saves a PDF document rapidly and without error. It uses low CPU and RAM, so it does not concern the overall performance of the PC. We have not come across any issues throughout our evaluation, since the utility did not hang or crash. PosteRazor serves its purpose, delivering a fast and easy way to prepare images for poster printing. There is also a portable edition available.
