However, when we talk about database of 10000 or more images and want to find a particular face, manual review could be boring and take a lot of time.

The QueryFace application will allow you to simplify this task. This tool will recognize face(s) on image and finds similar pictures (with same people) in a given folder.

You can improve the result by specifying which candidates better suits the request. The application will use that information to clarify search criteria and give more suggestions that time. You then can continue providing the feedback to get more and more accurate selection.
