ReaWatermark

ReaWatermark is a simple-to-use program that allows you to apply watermarks to images, which can be either pictures, text or shapes (e.g. rectangle, star, spline).

The interface of the application is clean and pretty intuitive. You can import an image via the file browser or "drag and drop" method. Unfortunately, you cannot apply watermarks on multiple pictures at the same time.

Once the objects have been added to the image, you can edit their properties when it comes to alignment, line style, fill style, shadows, borders and background. But you can also resize, crop, rotate and flip pictures, as well as apply filters (e.g. draft, linear, nearest).

You can bring objects to front or send them to back, enter an image editor (e.g. adjust the transparency level), zoom in and out, disable toolbars, toggle the preview mode, save the current project, as well as save the image file with the JPEG, GIF or TIFF format.

The program requires a moderate-to-high amount of system CPU and memory, has a good response time and includes a help file for first-time users. We have not come across any issues throughout our testing; no error dialogs have popped up and ReaWatermark did not freeze or crash. The quality of the output images is preserved at a good level.

On the downside, ReaWatermark does not offer support for multiple languages and you cannot configure program settings (e.g. set the app to minimize to the system tray). No recent updates have been made.
