Shoebox is an application designed to offer you a flexible storage solution for your pictures, one that does not impose space limits and allows you to access your precious memories anytime.

Following an uneventful setup, you are required to specify the directories that include the photos you want to create backups for. Depending on the size and amount of pictures, the synchronization can take up to a couple of minutes.

The utility comes with a clean, appealing and neatly organized interface that enables you to browse or find the photos that you need to access fast and without too much hassle. On the other hand, the app only supports JPG files.

The UI is structured as a dashboard and dedicates a large percentage to displaying the images. The Explore tab enables you to get an overview of the recently added pictures, an option that can come in handy when you want to share the photos from your last vacation with your family, for instance.

The timeline is a welcomed feature, particularly since it enables you to browse through the files uploaded within a certain month or year. You can easily delete images that you are not satisfied with or that are of poor quality or share the most recent ones that you are proud of with your loved ones or colleagues.

If you simply cannot find a photo you need via the timeline, then you can do a more narrow query via the Search function. To be more precise the app allows you to find based on the location they were taken, date and in a given interval.
