The program requires you to first provide an API key from TinyPNG's developer portal. This is a process that takes no time at all, and it involves nothing more than typing your email in, then accessing the developer dashboard via an emailed link from the service. The API key will be right there, so you'll be able to input it right away.

The program will then allow you to start compressing your images. The interface is very straightforward in that regard, as users can simply drop their photos in, and the program will handle everything else.

For better or worse, the program features no options that allow the end user to influence the compression algorithm. For instance, some users might prefer a sharper, but slightly larger picture over a less detailed, but smaller one — and there's no way to do any of that here. Perhaps this is owed to how TinyPNG handles compression, which the app has no way to override.

Nevertheless, compressing images does work well, and you'll be able to reduce their size without compromising much on quality. It's worth noting that compressing multiple images at once can be problematic, as the operations would outright refuse to start. As such, it's best you compress your stills one-by-one.
