When working on computer design elements, pictures are quite an important resource, since they can be manipulated, and even used as textures. For instance, a successful photo shooting session can result in the assembly of collages, which is exactly what TweakNow PerfectFrame can do for you, with an impressive variety of layouts.

Although the general look and feel of the application can leave more to be desired, it’s simplicity help you easily get familiar with all elements, and how they work. There’s not really a great variety of options, but combining styles, with an abundance of different layouts can result in surprising collage sets.

Before you get to add pictures, You might want to decide upon the layout style to use. A drop down menu lets you select items specially designed for collages with one picture slot, all the way up to ten slots. A navigation panel makes it easy to select the layout of choice, with clear thumbnails to view arrangement of picture slots.

All the way in the general tab, there are several sections you can configure for more visual tweaks. Size of collage is one of them, with different resolution preset values, or option to manually write down width and height.

The collage background can be composed of one of three different elements. The default one is a color time, which can be switched to horizontal or vertical gradient. The second lets you select from a variety of patterns, while the last can use a custom picture.

Photo editing is not possible here, but there are a few related controls. The side panel makes it easy to adjust photo slot, including color, while picture context menu options allow you to rotate, zoom through a slider, and drag the picture to show desired content.

Adding photos needs to be done one picture at a time, either through drag and drop, or the built-in browse dialog. The picture aspect ratio is not changed, even though you force it to fit inside the slot. Exporting is done to one of different formats such as BMP, GIF, JPG, PNG, or TIFF.

All things considered, we come to the conclusion that TweakNow PerfectFrame is a straightforward application with which to assemble collages, but comes with enough variety of preset frames, slots, layouts, and other resources to provide a neat result in the end.
