As the name suggests, TwistedBrush Blob Studio is a handy piece of software that enables you to draw any shape you set your mind on without having to worry too much about making precise brush strokes.

Following a quick and uneventful installation, you are welcomed by rather rugged, yet intuitive and clean working environment. While most of the UI is dedicated to the painting area, the interface is comprised of several panels that allow you to access your layers, palette selection, the array of brushes and a full picture preview area.

It is worth mentioning that the aforementioned panels vanish if you are drawing and exceed your working area to the left or right, a feature that is more than welcomed when painting a landscape for instance. You can rest assured that the utilities pop up again within the interface once you are done drawing.

As you would expect from a drawing utility, you have a wide variety of brushes and colors to choose from. In addition to the hues it comes with, you will be happy to learn that you can create colors of your own by mixing various colors that you are using to define the shapes within the layer you are working on.

Despite the fact that they do not put such a big emphasis on precise strokes, you can define the shapes you draw with the blob brushes using multiple layers. Moreover, you should know that cut, paste, delete and merge layers as necessary.
