VOVSOFT - Image Combiner

While complex editors come with options to stitch images together or create collages, sometimes all you need is a simple application to carry out this task. Designed to combine different images into a single one, VOVSOFT - Image Combiner can help you create picture strips, merging individual graphics either horizontally or vertically.

The application comes in two flavors: you can either use the classic installer to deploy it or opt for the portable edition, which requires no setup at all. Evidently, choosing the latter is much more convenient, since the system’s registry is not affected and you can use the application on the go.

As soon as you launch the application, you are greeted by the overly simplistic interface. The one-window GUI comprises all the settings and options, without a lot of additional menus and windows to explore.

VOVSOFT - Image Combiner provides support for all the common file formats (JPG, JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP, SVG, TIF, TIFF, WEBP), allowing you to stitch together images, even if they are of different types. You can either add images one by one, individually, or select a folder where they are located and let the application extract all the compatible pictures.

All the images are displayed in a list, along with their width and height. As you can imagine, the image dimensions are important for an application that does image stitching. Rest assured that you don’t have to select images with exactly the same width and height, as the application adds a white background for smaller images, if any.

You can easily change the image order and choose whether to merge images vertically or horizontally. Once you do so, hitting that “Combine” button will instruct the application to start creating the collage.
