Clone

Clone is a 3ds Max modifier which is useful in creating copies of an object. It works in the same manner as the native Array Tool except the fact that it is fully parametric and therefore, you can edit the number of duplicates along with their distribution at any given moment.

In other words, the idea behind the plugin is to provide a simple way to create copies of objects. According to the developer, the copies can be obtained via several methods, namely rotating, incremental translating and scaling the input geometry. Another benefit of the plugin worth mentioning is that it allows you to randomize transforms and material IDs. The tool permits you to create as many clones as necessary and, if added to the modifier stacker, it allows you to create 1D, 2D and 3D arrays, each with its own settings. It goes without saying that these features can save quite some time and energy on larger projects.

To add a clone modifier, you need to use the Number of Clone's value to determine how many times should the base geometry be reproduced. The Displacement and Rotate values enables an incremental translation of each clone, where you can add separate values for each of the axes.
