ElementsXXL

Any would be graphics designer has probably heard of the famous Adobe Photoshop suite and all the auxiliary programs that come with it. One such plugin is ElementsXXL, and while it may be a plugin for Photoshop Elements, it manages to add over 800 features that would normally only be available to Adobe Photoshop.

Among the features added by this plugin, we can easily mention new menu items, icons, buttons, key shortcuts, and dialogs, all of which integrate themselves seamlessly into the program's UI. More so, several of the Photoshop Elements UI will be modified to look like their Photoshop counterparts, at least from a visual point of view. You thus manage to close the gaps that separate Photoshop Elements and Photoshop, while greatly improving the image editing possibilities in it.

The installation kit is almost unnoticeable from a disk size point of view when compared to the program it is supposed to enhance, however, the number of features it adds is amazing. For example, ElementsXXL adds three drop-down buttons, five icons, six panels, 28 key shortcuts, over 50 dialogs, and over 300 menu items, as well as new filters and adjustment layers. You also have access to enhanced 16-bit image processing capabilities with the help of smart objects, smart filters, adjustment layers, and other layers. More so, you gain new file saving and exporting features, text features, selections and guides, general editing enhancements and more.

ElementsXXL adds so many new features to Photoshop Elements that it pretty much transforms it into a whole different product.  This makes it a great addition to your digital library, especially if you prefer regular Photoshop over elements, and plan on working with something that feels more familiar.
