Preparing content for plotting and printing is oftentimes more complex than it sounds, especially when dealing with designs and layouts that incorporate intricate patterns, shapes, and objects. Having the ability to neatly “tuck” all elements onto a single page, without sacrificing space and consequently, printable surface is of utmost importance in today’s digital plot and print world.

PlotCalc is an application that was designed specifically in order to offer its users the specialized means of incorporating their graphics designs into a plotting and printing framework, by providing an automated layout creation engine, which ensures that all the elements that are to be plotted, will be neatly arranged on the selected page format.

The application is deployed as a dedicated plugin, compatible with most versions of CorelDraw, and it features a special toolbar, which offers access to its different features.

Users will be able to achieve several tasks, whose scope pertains to the actual arrangement of the figures on the print page, set up extra tape sapling around cut figures, measure the length of the involved curved lines, as well as optimize the sending process, from CorelDraw, to the actual cutting machine that performs the cutting sequence.
