Image Browser Arctic is a desktop software tool designed to help you view, convert, and encrypt your image files with ease.

Installing the application is a simple process that does not require any other effort from the user than following the instructions on the screen and using few mouse clicks.

The program is wrapped in a clean, simple and straightforward interface, consisting of two panels in which the imported files are displayed. Files can be added using either the browsing button or the drag-and-drop support.

Image Browser Arctic comes with numerous options that gives you the possibility to manage your image files the way you like it. It lets you rename your items while copying the old file name to the clipboard (optional), and convert them to one of the available formats (e.g. TIF, PNG, GIF, ICO, BMP).

You can protect your files using a user-defined password and 128-bit encryption and decrypt them.

It can be set to save the listed files upon exit, stay minimized to the system tray, show tips upon launching, play sounds during the slide shows, and more.

You can view the images in their original ratio, stretch mode, full screen, as well as change the desktop's background directly from the utility's interface.

Last but not least, it supports a list of shortcuts for most of its functions to make it easier to use. You can employ a combination of hotkeys, such as “Ctrl + B” for batch conversion, “Ctrl + E” to edit your list, “Shift + F5” for clearing the clipboard, and “Ctrl + P” to print your files.
